Our Favorite Homemade Vegan Creamer

We highly recommend dressing Rasa up just as you would coffee, especially with some delicious creamer. ThisĀ vegan, date-sweetened creamerĀ is absolutely divine. It's kinda like putting vanilla ice cream in your Rasa!Ā

Homemade Coconut Vanilla Date Creamer

2 cups almond milk

1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk from a can

1 cup of dates, pitted

1 Tbsp vanilla extract

    ā˜•ļøšŸ„›āœØ

    Directions:

    Warm almond milk in a saucepanĀ onĀ medium-low heat.

    Add the dates and warmed almond milk to a high-speed blender or food processor. If your dates are a little dry, allow them to soak for 10 - 15 minutes so that they'll be easier to blend. Otherwise, process on high until the dates have broken down and turned into a smooth paste.

    Add the coconut cream from the can, excluding coconut water, and vanilla extract, and continue processing until everything is well combined.

    Transfer to an airtight container. You can run the creamer through a fine mesh strainer to ensure no bigger pieces of dates remain. Store in the fridge for up to a week. Creamer will thicken as it sits.
