Questions people like you are asking.

The majority of our brew line is made with a French press (if you don’t have a French press, check out this page for all the ways to brew!). If, however, you are interested in one of our instant blends, (Cloud Matcha, Cacao Noir, Classic Herbal Roast/Classic, Radiant Roast Coffee/Café) you just add water, baby! Our entire instant line can be enjoyed both hot or cold. The one exception is our Magnificent Mushrooms product, which you can add to whatever drink you’d like after brewing. Just give it a stir and you’re good to go!

The official answer is that there is not enough information about several of the herbs in Rasa to determine safety. That said, our gentlest blends— Original, Cacao, and Dirty— have no herbs that are contraindicated at one serving (one 8oz cup) per day during your 2nd and 3rd trimester or while nursing. Please consult your midwife or medical provider prior to use and always, always listen to your body!

Please note that Dirty, Café, and Radiant Roast Coffee contains real coffee, and therefore caffeine (35 mg - 70 mg per serving, depending on the blend).

We do not recommend any of our blends during the 1st trimester of pregnancy.

This is one of those personal parent-judgment questions! The Rasa formula in our Original and Cacao blends is a gentle, nourishing blend, designed to be balanced and safe for most people, most of the time. Because these blends use whole herbs it should be fine for children. But nothing is one-size-fits-all! You know your children best. If you choose to share Rasa with your children, keep the dosage small and age-appropriate.

Keep an eye on your little(s) and if you notice anything unusual, maybe it’s not a good fit for them at this time. Little bodies are more sensitive so they may notice these herbs more than our bodies do! But they may also be just fine. It’s your call!

If you’re going to share Rasa with your kids, stick with Original and Cacao, since our other blends are much more potent.

Adaptogens are a class of herbs that help the body adapt to and defend against the toxic effects of stress: they are nature's antidote to stress. They work systematically in the body to balance, restore, and protect. When you're experiencing less stress, your body functions better—better sleep, digestion, libido…you get the jist.

These herbs survived the Ice Age and still live in some of the harshest conditions around the world: they've learned to not only be resilient in the face of stress, but to thrive. In turn, they can help us do the same. In short: we like to say adaptogens help you human better.

Oh, we are so glad you asked! There sure are lots of products out there to choose from and we take a lot of pride in the products we sell and the intention we put behind them. Here are some ways that Rasa is unique:

Rasa uses full-spectrum extracts, adaptogens, & mushrooms that you brew & strain (no coffee, except for our Dirty blend!)
Rasa has between 2000-11,000 mg raw herb equivalent of mushrooms & adaptogens per cup, depending on which blend you choose
We offer a variety of blends for flavor and function--from libido to exercise recovery, calm, energy, and more!
Most of our blends have zero to trace amounts of caffeine (except for our Dirty and Radiant Roast Coffee/Café blends, which contain real coffee!)
Rasa costs between $.93-$1.60 per cup, depending on the blend (the ones with more functional mushrooms & adaptogens cost more), and even less if you subscribe, making us one of the more affordable options

Dirty Rasa is actually very enjoyable despite its name, the flavor is bold but not acidic and knowing one is drinking a cup of coffee with adaptogens is the best part!
I like to alternate with the Herbal Roast which has no caffeine.

Likes: The french press was a cool gift the dirty blend tastes great. Coffee never has given me a buzz so I don't know about that. The other flavors they sent along were ready too

Improvements: I know every body that drinks this stuff must be independently wealthy. But I'm a 67 year old retired person and it's hard to justify the cost. But I keep hoping I find the magic elixer

I loved the Rasa experience from the very first cup! Now I begin each day refreshed and energized. The flavor is amazing and I enjoy having the packets for on the go. The Dirty Ritual Starter kit is the best way to be introduced to this delicious product. The coffee press is beautiful and makes a perfect cup. These blends are very lush in flavor and boldness. A wonderful break from other coffee and tea products. I highly recommend.
